New Babas Location Coming to Downtown Charleston

NAI Charleston is proud to announce that Jack Owens, CCIM, and Sarah Shelley represented Edward and Marie Crouse—owners of the popular babas on cannon and babas on meeting—in the purchase of 115 ½ Wentworth Street in downtown Charleston.

This acquisition marks babas’ third location in the city and their first owner-occupied property. The ±1,910 SF, two-story brick building, complete with a private outdoor patio, is located in the historic Harleston Village and dates back to 1931.

They plan to completely renovate, expand, and reimagine the space to align with babas’ signature aesthetic and hospitality. Construction and renovation efforts began immediately following the recent closing.
